CBCT

Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT)

Cone‑beam computed tomography (CBCT) is a dental‑focused X‑ray system that captures three‑dimensional images of teeth, jawbone, soft tissues and nerve pathways in a single scan. It is employed when standard dental films cannot provide sufficient detail, such as for implant placement, orthodontic assessment, or complex surgical planning.

Key benefits

  • Rapid, single‑scan acquisition ideal for office‑based use
  • Generates detailed 3‑D visualizations of anatomical structures, including nerve pathways
  • Enables precise treatment planning for implants, orthodontics and oral surgery
  • Provides greater image detail than standard dental X‑rays
